Yes, we will be hosting a dinner on Tuesday night at the Golf Club of Texas at Briggs Ranch. We're finalizing pricing on stuff and we'll get tickets on sale soon. Standard fare for the evening; dinner, shirt, ID lanyard, goodies, people's choice show'n'shine. If anyone is interested in playing golf, we'll have discounted green fees during the week for members to hit the links. It's a very nice course from what I understand (I barely know which end of the club hits the ball). Also, we've been working on a roadtrip for Thursday morning out to Shiner, TX to tour the Spoetzl (Shiner) brewery and see other sights in the tiny town. With the convention open for going to the riverwalk all day long we thought it would be fun to host a charity lunch trip and still have time to wander the riverwalk later in the day/evening. We're setting this up as a charitable thing to support improvements to the Shiner City Park. Since they haven't done Bocktoberfest in a couple years (dunno why) the city is looking for some financial help. We're finalizing details on this as well. Just a mention, please make sure you bring a family band radio. These things are incredibly helpful particularly with the amount of driving we'll be doing at the convention!
